Working With Silk

My first time working with silk was making this vintage blouse in 2023. It features pintucks, darts, a collar, covered buttons and cuffs. It was challenging adjusting to the way silk moves, but there are many techniques I learnt to help the process. 

During my last term at WCA, we made this 1930s cami and shorts underwear set. This also features pintucks, lace hems and hand sewn plackets/fastenings.
